Basic Mechanics and Controls Every Brall Player Should Know
Mastering Brall requires a sound understanding of his basic mechanics and controls:
Passive: His passive increases damage, attack speed, heals him on minion kills and knocking hunters, and adds ability haste while empowered.
Primary Attack: Brall has two primary attacks – a melee ranged auto, and a charge-up, ranged based auto. For his melee attack, 3rd and 4th hits do more damage.
Right Click Attack: His R-click is essentially an empowered strike, that has different effects depending on if charged, in the air, moving, latched on with his Q ability, etc.
Shift Skill: Brall has a lot of mobility with his Shift skill, which starts at 2 and increases to 3 dashes. This does damage when going through enemy hunters and creeps.
Q Ability: This ability shoots out a chain that allows Brall to pull himself to or swing based on the point of impact. It also applies anti-heal to the target. Fun fact: you can use this on an enemy hunter who is gliding over the abyss to instantly spike them. You can re-activate the ability again even if they have already been spiked to swing back.
R Ability: Bralls R ability makes him invulnerable, deals extra damage and heals him for around 80%. Knocking an enemy sends them directly to deathbox rather than wisp.
Brall’s controls are complex and have a high skill cap, but mastering his timing and positioning requires practice. Familiarize yourself with these mechanics to gain an edge in gameplay.
Transitioning to deeper equipment and ability strategies will further enhance your proficiency with Brall and solidify your gameplay effectiveness.
Situational Equipment Choices Based on Gameplay Style
Aggressive Playstyle: If you prefer a more aggressive playstyle, consider swapping the Shield Generator for a Damage Amplifier. This boosts all attack damage temporarily, allowing for more aggressive pushes.
Defensive Playstyle: For a defensive approach, prioritize equipment like the Advanced Shield Module and self-healing capabilities. This setup ensures Brall can absorb and recover from heavy damage while retaliating effectively.
Support Playstyle: When playing in a support role, Brall can equip items such as the Healing Beacon and Team Buff Modules. These items grant benefits to the entire team, enhancing overall team performance and durability.
By strategically selecting and upgrading your equipment, Brall’s effectiveness can be maximized to fit any player’s preferred style. Mastering these setups will allow you to adapt seamlessly to any in-game situation or challenge.
Essential Ability Management
Timing and Positioning for Maximum Ability Effectiveness
To excel with Brall in Supervive, mastering the timing and positioning of your abilities is crucial. Brall’s abilities have a diverse impact on the battlefield, so understanding their optimal use can make the difference between victory and defeat. Ensure you:
Predict Enemy Movements: Anticipate where opponents will move to maximize the impact of your abilities.
Synergize Your Abilities: Combine Brall’s abilities to control the battlefield effectively. For example, use a stun ability followed by an area damage ability to maximize damage output.
Position Wisely: Flanking is optimal, and staying at optimal distances where your abilities can have the most effect without exposing yourself to unnecessary risk. Knowing when to go in, and on who, is an absolute must.
Cooldown Management Strategies
Effective cooldown management can be the deciding factor in tight matches. Here’s how to stay ahead:
Plan Ahead: Know the duration of each cooldown and plan your moves accordingly.
Conserve Abilities: Don’t waste abilities on low-value targets or in situations where they won’t have maximal impact.
Coordinate with Team: Communicate with teammates to synchronize ability usage, ensuring that key abilities are available when needed for critical moments.
Common Ability Usage Mistakes to Avoid
Avoiding common mistakes can significantly improve your gameplay. Here are some pitfalls to watch out for:
Overusing Abilities: Spamming abilities without purpose can leave you defenseless at crucial times. Use them strategically. You always want to make sure all 3 of Bralls dashes are up when engaging, otherwise you will have no escape or enough dashes to chase targets down.
Poor Targeting: Use abilities on high-value targets such as key opponents rather than wasting them on lesser threats. You need to be able to hit your abilities, as missing them lowers your impact dramatically.
Ignoring Cooldowns: Pay close attention to cooldown times and avoid using abilities as soon as they are available without considering the upcoming gameplay scenarios.
Mastering these elements of Brall’s ability management will greatly enhance your effectiveness and overall gameplay experience. Now, let’s move on to the next set of strategies to further refine your approach.
